ReplyDeleteShe started acting when she was two (2) years old, in BBC serie "Growing Pains". When she was a teenager, she wrote a articule for the british magazine "Elle Girl". Her father is Phill Collins, but she never needed her father's help, to created her own fame in the movies world.
It's a great thing that she started her acting career at age 2.

DeleteI am gonna talk about Mary Shelley. She was a Novelist borned in 1797, that was renowned for write fiction (like Frankenstein) and include the critic to the society into her novels. Her mother was a feminist and the author of ‘A Vindication of the Rights of Woman’ and Mary wanted to follow her steps. But it wasn´t easy for her because Mary´s step-mother made her life so hard. But she fought against this, the society and built her name since nothing.

DeleteI'm going to talk about Marc Newson, he was born in Sidney in 1963, he became a prestigious industrial designer. He is one of the most influential people in the world, preserving that meticulousness and early creativity in all his works. Before the success, at age 12, he traveled throughout Europe with his mother, for twelve months. His world then widened and the experience sold that designer's pleasure forever to discover new places to feed his curiosity and his works. Then he studied jewelry and lived in Korea and Tokyo, which gave him the technique and the taste for detail. From his head have emerged all kinds of creations: furniture watches, yachts, containers, suitcases, airplanes. In addition, he has the ability to turn everthing the touches into an icon of modern design. A power praised by its customers and recognized worldwide. It would be great to have creativity and skill similar to his.

Originally from Zwittau, in the former region of the Sudeten of Czechoslovakia, Schindler studied the engineering career upon entering the army of his country.
Steven Spielberg recovered and spread his figure worldwide twenty years later on Schindler's List, a successful film that deserved seven Oscars.
I've heard about film of Schindler´s list but I haven´t seen it, it sounds very interesting.

ReplyDeleteShe born in 1910 in Uskub, Ottoman Kingdom. She founded congregation Missionaries of Charity and many help centers. Agnes won some prizes in different countries like the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979.
In 1997 she died in Calcuta, India. She was beatified by John Paul II in 2003 and was canonized in 2016 by Francis.

In 1895, Tesla designed what was among the first AC hydroelectric power plants in the United States, at Niagara Falls. Also, Nikola set to work on his boldest project yet: to build a global, wireless communication system for sharing information and providing free energy throughout the world.
Tesla was an extraordinary scientist. Thanks to his legacy, changed the way of life of society and many technological advances are possible

I will talk about Andrea Vargas, she is a Costa Rican athlete, winner of the gold medal at the 2019 Pan American Games, Andrea competed in the 100 meter hurdles managing to finish the race in a time of 11.70 seconds.

ReplyDeleteI'm going to talk about the number one table tennis athlete, Ma Long is the number one in the world, he is the best table tennis player and he is my idol, he is 30 years old and he won the first world champion in 2015 against Fang Bo, These players are Chinese and teammates in the China team. Long Ma still holds the number one position in the world of table tennis.
And he was born october 20th 1988, the year of the dragon, in one litle town in China in Anshan, Liaoning.

In the 1960s and 1970s, she was known for her association with the Black Panthers. She was fired from one teaching job for being a communist, she even appeared on the Federal Bureau of Investigation's "Ten Most Wanted" list. She mainly talks about women and black rights. Nowadays sh goes all around the world talking about civil rights, two years ago she was here in Costa Rica I actually got to meet her. She is a very intelligent and strong women.

He is one of the best strategist in the history, because he was able to resist the British invasion to Cartagena,which was constituted by 30000 enemys,while he only had 5000 soldier to held the the castle of San Felipe de Barajas. This this made him a hero in Colombia and in some way protect all the latinoamericans countries of having become colonies.
One of the persons I really admire is Stephen Hawking, he is probably one of the must amazing minds recently. He was born in Oxfort on 1942. He was an important scientist, but he was special not only because he was very smart , he was so amazing because he had Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis but he never let that the issue wins him.

In 1990 she was in a train to London and for some reason the train had some problems and she end up having a 4 hour delay. In those hours she came up with the great idea of creating a story of a wizard kid who goes to a magical school. After that it took 7 years to publish her's first book. In that time a lot of things happenend, is a very dramatic story but all's worth it because now everyone knows his books.
I can't believe it I was going to write about her xD. Well, I guess now I have to change it, but you gave a really good sumary about her life.

ReplyDeleteMarie Skłodowska Curie better know as Marie Curie. She was born on November 7 in 1867 and she was a Polish and naturalized-French physicist and chemist. She has great importance in the field of science, especially in the development of the theory of radioactivity. She was not only the first person but the first woman to win the Nobel Prize twice in two different scientific fields and also help with the discovery of two elements, polonium and radium. She had to fight in a society ruled by man in order to reach the place she deserved as one of the most important science figures in the human history.

Reeves began his acting Career at the 9, and when he was 15 years debut in many short films. The most important film in which Reeves had a starring role is Matrix and John wick.

I admire him because he is a person who never gave up and always kept going until he got to where he is now. He lives in Arizona, he left more than two years ago. He lived in Heredia before leaving.

Recognized for his ingenious floor appliance test designs and soil filtration research, he was also credited with developing the soil mechanics teaching program at Harvard University in the early 1930s. Casagrande won many awards throughout his career, including being named the first ever Rankine Lecturer by the British Geotechnical Association as well as a Terzaghi Lecturer by ASCE. A number of awards have been established in his honor including the Arthur Casagrande Professional Development Award.

He persevered in his vocation despite his father's opposition, and in 1606 he became a friar professing the vows of poverty, chastity and obedience. Of all the virtues that Martin de Porres possessed, humility stood out, he always put others ahead of his own needs.
